Job Purpose
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced QA Engineer (Automation) Engineers to become an integral part of our team! In this role, you will play a key role in the planning, implementation, and monitoring of quality assurance test cases. We are seeking a motivated professional who is passionate about ensuring the highest standards of quality in our products.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Ui and API automation frameworks using TypeScript + Playwright.
- Design and execute API automation tests using REST Assured (Java).
- Ability to add new features and enhancements to existing Automation framework
- Reviews automated test run results and verifies results
- Ensure all automation solutions are scalable, reusable, and maintainable
- Implement and manage continuous integration pipelines for automated testing
- Understanding of multiple test types including unit, functional, integration, end to end, API, security, performance, load, and UI tests.
- Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and QA teams to understand requirements and ensure full test coverage.
- Analyze test results, debug issues, and ensure timely resolution in coordination with development teams.
- Participate in code reviews, provide technical guidance, and share best practices within the team.
- Contribute to test strategy, test planning, and test execution in Agile/Scrum environments.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience in test automation
- Strong understanding of OOPS concepts and strong programming skills in Java, or JavaScript
- Strong experience with Playwright, Selenium or Cypress and TypeScript or Java for UI and API test automation.
- Solid hands-on experience with REST Assured for API testing (Java).
- Strong understanding of HTTP, REST, JSON, XML and API validation techniques.
- Good experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
- Experience with version control tools (e.g., Git).
- Excellent debugging and analytical skills.
- Clear and fluent English (both verbal and written)
- Ability to plan, priorities and complete your own work, whilst remaining a team player
- Used /Exposure to automation tool for non-functional testing
Working hours : Mon to Fri (11:00 to 20:00)
