QA Certification Analyst

We are seeking an individual with exemplary quality analysis skills. FreedomPay is a unique payment technology company that creates state of the art high traffic web technology, software development kits, device drivers and configuration, and data ware housing. This is a full-time salaried position. You will be a senior member on a team of world class analysts delivering innovative products to market.

Job Requirements

• Payment Industry practices and technologies, ideally around EMV specifications and certifications
• Direct experience with working with payment processors and reading specification guides
• UL and ICC EMV test tools
• Capability to perform all certification analyst responsibilities
• Rigorous eye for detail, exemplary technical expertise and creative problem solving
• High intensity, role ownership and passion, and communication leadership
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial team environment
• 2-3 years related in quality analysis or related roles

Preferred Job Experience

• Ingenico and other POI hardware
• Azure DevOps, Confluence, Microsoft Office, and SharePoint collaboration
• Git Source control

Job Responsibilities

• Be a member on a team of highly motivated individuals
• Communicate goals and deadlines
• Communicate with contracting certification analysts
• Work closely with the processors to certify the platform
• Analyze requirements and translate specifications
• Interface and configure software and hardware devices
• Design robust test scripts and execute them
• Discover problems, troubleshoot errors and perform root cause analysis
• Strive to become a subject matter expert in our products and payment industry
• Interface with internal and external stakeholders
• Learn to adapt to the ever-changing hardware and software environments of payments systems and processing
• Work with Engineering and Product owners on bug tracking and resolution to meet rigorous and tight deadlines
• Report out statuses of certifications
• Create technical documentation
