What You’ll Do for Us
- Prepares beverage batches based on lab sheets within the expected quality and time.
- Analyzes basic beverage parameters i.e. brix, acidity, pH, and sensory.
- Monitors processes to maintain the production parameters within specifications and monitors microbiological conditions of equipment and take appropriate corrective actions.
- Interacts with the Product Developers to clarify production processes and to inform of non-conformities.
- Provides guidance, expertise and training for blending equipment and develops expertise on specific equipment.
- Works directly with cross-departmental personnel and management to problem-solve to ensure maximum production efficiencies.
- Works as the primary Trainer for new employees covering policies, processes, standard work, lean tools, and new/revised systems requirements.
- Manages documentation and records to ensure that they are complete, current, secure, and easily retrievable.
- Represent your QA manager to the QA Team, Production, Maintenance, and Warehouse
- Communicate any new procedures or updates as delivered to you by your manager
- Lead your team by taking responsibility for blending and lab techs getting their tasks done.
- Take the lead in resolving any issues that come up whether in blending or Lab tech functions.
- Communicate and escalate any issues to your manager and or plant leadership.
- Monitor: Blends are within parameters and ready on time
- Monitor: Brews are within parameters and ready on time
- Monitor: Lab Tech testing is accurate and on time (Example startup brix is completed in a quality way, but timely)
- Monitor SAP ingredient issue and inputs for accuracy (correct amounts and lots used)
- Resolve any emailed batch variances whether from your team or not
- Monitor Blending: All CIPs are started on time and paperwork complete
- Monitor Techs: Swabbing is performed in a timely manner
- Monitor Techs to be sure calibrations are completed when the Calibration Tech is out
- Review all paperwork (Blend sheets, CIP paperwork, Lab Recap sheets, and Swabbing sheets) toward the end of the shift for completeness and accuracy
- Complete the daily shift audit including the observation in the absence of the manager.
- Help QA Manager with other tasks as needed
Qualification & Requirements
- High School diploma or GED equivalent is required. Bachelor’s degree is a plus.
- 2-5 years of successful experience in a blending/manufacturing environment.
- Must be proficient in understanding, monitoring, and acknowledging machine malfunction alarms with the ability troubleshoot.
- SAP experience preferred.
- Must have a working knowledge of beverage applications & basic parameters, knowledge of principles industrial food hygiene and Food Safety environment.
- Competency in brix/acidity/pH/CO2 analysis is ideal.
- Forklift and Hi-Lift certified or ability to become certified in a reasonable time frame
- Must have strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work efficiently under stressful situations
- Must be able to use computer and associated software programs, such as Microsoft Office, One Note, SAP, Infinity Quality System.

Pay Range:
$71,136 - $86,944Base pay offered may vary depending on geography, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position, is offered.
