The Quality Assurance Analyst will provide project test planning, test development, test execution, release test planning, and various service activities within the Quality Assurance group.
ResponsibilitiesPerform manual testing, including functional, regression, and exploratory testing for web and mobile applications.
Execute end-to-end testing for e-commerce workflows, ensuring seamless user experience and transaction integrity.
Design and maintain test cases and test scripts using automation tools such as Katalon, JUnit, Selenium, and related frameworks.
Conduct API testing and automation using Postman, including validation of integrations and error handling.
Prepare detailed test case reports, edge case scenarios, and stability reports for releases.
Write and execute basic SQL queries for data validation and backend verification.
Collaborate with development teams to identify, document, and track defects using test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail).
Perform load and performance testing using tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, or Gatling to ensure system scalability.
Conduct vulnerability and security testing using tools such as OWASP ZAP, Burp Suite, or Netsparker to identify and mitigate risks.
Ensure compliance with accessibility standards and perform usability testing where applicable.
Maintain stability and regression reports for releases and provide actionable insights.
Work collaboratively in an agile development environment, participating in sprint planning and reviews.
Education/ Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field is required.
3+ years of Automation and Manual experience is required.
Solid understanding of testing techniques for public, customer facing web application including cross-browser and cross-device testing.
Strong manual back-end testing experience including database, data feeds, scheduled jobs/batch processing
Working experience in development life cycle methodologies (e.g. Agile, Waterfall, KanBan).
Skills:
Familiarity with automation tools (Katalon, JUnit, Selenium) and scripting for test automation.
Strong knowledge of manual testing methodologies, including regression testing and e-commerce workflows.
Proficiency in Postman for API testing and automation.
Ability to write basic SQL queries for data validation.
Experience with load testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling).
Knowledge of security and vulnerability testing tools (OWASP ZAP, Burp Suite).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to interpret complex requirements and design effective test cases.
Experience with test management systems and defect tracking tools (Jira, TestRail).
Ability to work collaboratively in a virtual environment.
