Job Description

This role is hybrid with travel into the Uxbridge offices twice a week.

At Motorola Solutions, quality isn’t just about finding bugs — it’s about building confidence in everything we ship. We’re looking for a QA Automation Manager who can set the vision for automation, build frameworks and inspire a team to raise the quality bar across the board.

This role blends hands-on technical expertise with people leadership. You’ll be designing automation strategies that scale, guiding engineers to do their best work, and partnering with product and development teams to deliver faster, safer releases.
What You’ll Do

  • Own and drive our test automation strategy across web, mobile, and APIs
  • Build scalable, maintainable automation frameworks that accelerate development
  • Embed automation into CI/CD so quality is part of every release
  • Lead and mentor a talented team of automation engineers
  • Use metrics and insights to measure impact and continuously improve

Basic Requirements

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong background in test automation ((Playwright, Appium, API,etc.)
  • Solid coding skills in JavaScript/TypeScript or Go# or other similar frameworks.
  • Experience integrating automation into modern CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience leading and implementing performance test strategies
  • Previous leadership or mentoring experience — you know how to bring the best out of people
  • A problem-solver with curiosity, pragmatism, and a drive to make testing smarter, not just bigger
