About the role:
Our technology team is looking for a highly skilled and experienced QA Automation Manager.
As a QA Automation Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of QA Engineers and managing our automation testing efforts. Your extensive experience in automation testing, along with your proficiency in various automation tools and frameworks, will be essential in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our software testing processes
Location:
This will be a hybrid role where candidates will be asked to come to our India office each week on set days. Candidate must be open to work for 3-4 overlapping hours with our US team.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the test automation team, providing guidance and support in implementing effective automation strategies
- Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks and test scripts using Selenium, Chatbot Testing, Java-Selenium, Geb+Spock, Codeception, Playwright
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyse software requirements and design test cases accordingly
- Drive the adoption of best software engineering practices including CI/CD and automated testing
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in automation testing tools and platforms
- Provide leadership in innovation and evaluation/adoption of leading test platforms/solutions
- Train and mentor team members with a strong focus on automation development and testing best practices
- Monitor and report on the progress and performance of automation testing activities
You have:
- 12+ years of experience in automated testing, with at least 5 years focused specifically on automation testing, 3-5 years management experience
- Proficiency in building automation frameworks and writing automation test scripts using Java
- Strong understanding of Java/J2EE development to design, implement, and triage defects or issues
- Familiarity with leading tools such as Jenkins, Bitbucket/Git Repos
- Proven ability to build automation testing frameworks from scratch using tools like Karate, Selenium, Cucumber, Rest Assured, etc.
- Experience evaluating outsourced frameworks.
- Solid understanding of good software engineering practices including CI/CD and automated testing
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong leadership abilities and the ability to effectively manage a team

The AQA team at Trusted Media Brands in growing. This team currently consists of 6 highly motivated members who look after the automation testing of different projects. We work closely with the developers and product owners to get the proper understanding of new features so that we can deliver quality automation testing scripts.
