The Opportunity
As QA Automation Lead, you will be the strategic owner of quality for the entire Healthee platform. This is a senior, impact-focused role ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of technology leadership, systems thinking, and AI-enabled quality innovation.
You will not only manage automation pipelines and lead testing strategy-you will see the big picture, identify quality gaps across the SDLC, and transform challenges into high-leverage solutions using cutting-edge software practices and AI tools. You will work closely with engineering, product, and infra teams to ensure every release is fast, safe, and scalable.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Ownership & Leadership

• Define and own the end-to-end Quality Assurance vision across Healthee's platform-automation, release confidence, and production health.
• Transform quality challenges into scalable systems by leveraging the latest in software engineering, AI/ML, and cloud-native architectures.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate risks throughout the product lifecycle with a data and KPI-driven approach.

Platform Automation & CI/CD Innovation

• Architect and scale robust automation frameworks that power test coverage across APIs, web, and mobile interfaces.
• Integrate AI-driven quality solutions (e.g., intelligent test case generation, anomaly detection, self-healing scripts) to increase speed and reliability.
• Lead integration of test suites into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, etc.), enforcing gates that ensure defect-free delivery to production.

Cross-functional Collaboration

• Partner closely with Product, Engineering, and DevOps to align quality goals with business outcomes.
• Translate technical quality findings into actionable insights for product managers and executives.
• Evangelize a quality-first culture across Healthee, coaching teams and introducing processes that uphold excellence.

Monitoring, Analytics & Continuous Improvement

• Establish real-time test analytics, KPIs, and alerts to detect issues early and improve system observability.
• Proactively analyze trends in test results and production issues to drive root-cause resolution and future prevention.
• Maintain high standards of documentation, reproducibility, and auditability across QA practices.

What You Bring

• 6+ years of experience in QA automation, including 2+ years in a senior or leadership capacity.
• Proven experience owning quality strategy for large-scale platforms, including multi-team coordination and stakeholder communication.
• Expertise in test automation frameworks (Playwright strongly preferred) and strong programming fundamentals.
• Deep knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, particularly using GitHub Actions and modern DevOps tooling.
• Familiarity with AI/ML-driven testing tools and a passion for applying emerging technologies to improve quality and velocity.
• Experience working with front-end frameworks (Angular, Vue.js) and backend services.
• Strong understanding of quality metrics, testing methodologies, and risk-based testing.
• Exceptional communication and leadership skills-able to influence without authority and drive cross-team alignment.
• A strategic mindset with the ability to shift between 30,000ft vision and tactical execution.

Salary range: 30,000-34,000
