About the role:

In this opportunity as a Jr. QA Automation Engineer - Playwright, you will:

  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and UX designers to understand project requirements and assist in developing comprehensive test plans and specifications.
  • Design, develop, and maintain UI and API automated test scripts using Playwright for web applications.
  • Participate in writing clean, maintainable, and reusable test code.
  • Execute automated test suites, analyze results, and report issues to ensure software quality and adherence to best practices.
  • Assist in code reviews and help maintain a robust automation framework.
  • Support manual testing efforts as needed to ensure complete coverage.
  • Participate in Agile development practices, including sprint planning and daily standups.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to improve testing processes and methodologies.

About you:

You’re a fit for the role of Jr. QA Automation Engineer - Playwright if your background includes:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in quality assurance and test automation.
  • Proficiency in automated testing tools, with significant experience using Playwright (Mandatory).
  • Strong understanding of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Experience with scripting or programming languages such as JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python.
  • Experience with GIT
  • Basic understanding of APIs (REST and Graphql)
  • Familiarity with integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with both API and UI automation testing.
  • Eager to learn and apply new skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills and a willingness to collaborate with team members.
  • Passion for delivering high-quality software that meets user needs.
