Devsinc is hiring a QA Automation Engineer with a primary focus on automating API regression testing for the Anti-Fraud domain. The role involves developing and maintaining automated tests and test frameworks, integrating test execution into CI/CD pipelines, and continuously improving automation coverage and overall testing processes.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts for API, web, and/or mobile applications, covering functional, regression, smoke, and sanity testing.
- Automate API regression test cases for the Anti-Fraud domain and continuously improve automation coverage.
- Maintain, refactor, and enhance existing test automation frameworks, autotests, test data, and automation utilities.
- Perform API automation testing and ensure reliable validation of application functionality and integrations.
- Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines and support test-run automation using TestOps and Allure integration.
- Review requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria to ensure adequate test coverage and identify potential quality risks.
- Identify, document, track, and validate defects while collaborating closely with developers through resolution.
- Maintain clear and up-to-date documentation for autotests and automation frameworks.
- Support manual testing when required and continuously improve testing processes, framework maintainability, and automation effectiveness.
- Collaborate effectively with engineering and product teams using Jira, Slack, Git, and GitHub within an Agile development environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in QA Automation.
- Strong understanding of software testing concepts, SDLC, STLC, test design, regression testing, and defect management.
- Hands-on experience with automation frameworks/tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright; experience with Appium for mobile automation is beneficial where applicable.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java, JavaScript, Python, or C#. Knowledge of Kotlin for autotests is a plus, but not mandatory.
- Strong experience with API testing and automation, using tools/frameworks such as Postman, RestAssured, or equivalent solutions.
- Hands-on experience integrating automated tests with CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI, including test-run automation.
- Experience with TestOps, Allure integration, Git/GitHub, and maintaining automated test frameworks.
- Familiarity with performance testing tools such as JMeter or Gatling and BDD frameworks such as Cucumber or SpecFlow.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with strong teamwork and familiarity with Jira and Slack.
- Basic understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Working proficiency in English for effective collaboration and technical communication.
