Now we are looking for a QA Automation Engineer to take ownership of our web and API test automation. This role is an exciting opportunity to drive quality from the ground up, build scalable CI/CD testing pipelines, and directly influence the engineering culture within a fast-growing product team.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Design, build, and maintain automated test suites for web and API layers using TypeScript and Playwright

• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other QA engineers to define test strategy, acceptance criteria, and quality gates

• Investigate and triage test failures, distinguishing flaky tests from genuine regressions

• Write clear bug reports, test plans, and documentation that non-technical stakeholders can follow

• Participate in code reviews for test automation code and advocate for testability in application design

• Continuously improve test coverage, execution speed, and stability of the automation suite

About You:

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in test automation

• Strong proficiency in TypeScript (or JavaScript with willingness to work in TS)

• Practical experience with Playwright (or similar frameworks — Cypress, Selenium — with eagerness to adopt Playwright)

• Solid understanding of testing fundamentals: test design, API testing, regression vs. exploratory testing, test data management

• Experience integrating tests into CI/CD workflows and reading pipeline logs to debug failures
