Softeta is seeking a Junior QA Automation Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with our experienced QA team to test and ensure the quality of our web applications. You will have the opportunity to learn and grow while contributing to the success of our clients and company.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain automated tests using Playwright and TypeScript;
- Identify, document, and track defects;
- Collaborate with developers and QA engineers throughout the software development lifecycle;
- Use AI-assisted development tools, such as Claude Code, for test creation, debugging, and code improvement;
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of test automation practices and overall product quality.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in software testing, including hands-on test automation experience;
- Practical experience with an automated testing framework, preferably Playwright;
- Experience with TypeScript, JavaScript programming language;
- Experience using AI-assisted coding tools such as Claude Code, ChatGPT, or GitHub Copilot;
- Ability to investigate issues, analyse test results, and communicate findings clearly;
- A proactive mindset and a genuine interest in software quality and continuous learning.
