QA Automation Engineer (Selenium, TestNG)

Software Requirements

• Strong experience in Selenium Automation, scripting of test cases, and automation execution.
• Proficiency in Test Automation frameworks such as TestNG, JAVA, Python, and Maven.
• Good knowledge in SQL and database testing.
• Familiarity with tools for defect management and test status reporting.

Overall Responsibilities:

• Design and execute automated tests using Selenium and other test automation frameworks.
• Develop and maintain test scripts for functional and regression testing of banking applications.
• Plan and estimate testing efforts.
• Manage defects and report test status.
• Coordinate with onshore teams including business analysts, development teams, and APS teams.
• Contribute to testing KPIs and participate in project-level meetings.
• Provide training and share knowledge with team members.

Day-to-Day Activities:

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium and other frameworks.
• Execute automated tests and analyze results.
• Perform functional and regression testing of banking applications.
• Plan and estimate testing efforts.
• Track and report defects, managing them to resolution.
• Coordinate with onshore teams to ensure smooth testing processes.
• Contribute to and monitor testing KPIs.
• Participate in project-level meetings.
• Provide training and share knowledge with team members.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Advanced certifications in QA automation or related areas (e.g., ISTQB Certified Tester).
