Dealerware’s team is currently hiring for a QA Automation Engineer.  We are looking for a manual frontend/backend QA tester who is excited to take on automation projects and is looking to grow.                                              

As a QA Automation Engineer, you will:

  • Manually test changes to frontend and backend code
  • Collaborate with developers to ensure test coverage and quality standards
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in test automation and CI workflows
  • Participate in SCRUM ceremonies 
  • Take a sense of ownership of the quality of your domain
  • Develop and execute API tests using like Postman
  • Integrate automated tests into CI pipelines (ie: CircleCI)
  • Document test cases, procedures, and results

Required qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in software development or QA automation
  • 2+ years of experience developing using Git version control
  • 2+ years of experience with CI/CD concepts and tools (e.g., CircleCI, GitHub Actions)
  • 2+ years of developing backend API tests (e.g., Postman, Insomnia, ReadyAPI, GraphQL)
  • 3+ years of QA experience
  • Experience with AWS, GCP or Azure

Even better if you have:

  • Experience with frontend testing tools (e.g., Selenium, WebDriverio, Playwright, Cypress)
  • Experience with database seeding and test data management
  • Experience with mobile automation frameworks (e.g., Flutter, Dart, Swift, Kotlin)
  • Experience with microservice architecture

Hybrid Workspace

Employees engage in a combination of remote and on-site work.

To support operational effectiveness, team collaboration, and company culture, we require all hybrid employees to work onsite in the Austin, TX office at least two days per week on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
