Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with development teams to understand and validate data layer specifications.
- Write automated test cases using Cypress/Playwright with TypeScript to validate analytics implementations across web applications.
- Implement and maintain continuous regression testing for data layers, performing pre and post-release checks after every deployment.
- Identify and address issues related to analytics data accuracy and integrity promptly.
- Optimize analytics implementations to ensure comprehensive tracking of user interactions and business metrics.
- Document test plans, test cases, and test results related to analytics testing.
- Conduct root cause analysis for complex analytics issues and provide actionable recommendations for resolution.
- Lead training sessions or workshops to educate team members on analytics best practices and tools.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define analytics requirements for new features or projects.
- Actively participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to the overall quality assurance strategy of the organization.
- Mentor junior team members in analytics validation techniques and automation practices.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a QA Engineer or similar role, with a focus on analytics testing and automation.
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Analytics, including extensive experience with analytics objects on web applications.
- Hands-on experience with automated testing tools, particularly Cypress/Playwright with TypeScript, for regression testing.
- Solid understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and familiarity with the Shopify platform is highly desirable.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience in e-commerce or retail industries, particularly with Shopify-based applications.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
