Software QA Analyst
You will be an experienced Software Test Analyst. You will have a disciplined approach producing a high standard in testing and documentation with limited supervision.
Responsibilities:
- Define, develop and implement QA practices and procedures
- Develop automated testing systems, scripts and datasets
- Ensure all test coverage and results are created and tracked through our defect/test management software
- Define scope, objectives and identify risks for all QA testing
- Assure the appropriate level of quality is sustained by working with development team to resolve defects
- Ensure that all supported browser and mobile devices are compatible with our software
- Lead and present at QA knowledge sharing sessions to upskill and mentor other testers in how to successfully verify different parts of the system
Preferred Skills:
- Design, documentation and ongoing change management of test plans and strategies
- Experience using issue tracking and work flow tools
- ISEB/ISTQB Foundation certificate in software testing
- Knowledge of SQL very beneficial
- Knowledge of test tools including test management, defect management
- Proven experience in writing/defining test cases, risk management and test scripts
- Proven experience in the execution of system, system integration and regression tests
- Languages: Python, C# or TypeScript not mandatory but an asset

Minimum Requirements:
- Tertiary degree, preferably Computer Science, or similar, or ability to demonstrate equivalent experience and knowledge in the field
- 3+ years software testing experience

- Experience defining and writing test cases, test scripts, and test plans

- ISEB or ISTQB Foundation certificate in software testing
- Knowledge of SQL
- Python, C#, or TypeScript experience
- Strong written and spoken English communication skills
