QA Analyst (m/f/d) 1 year contract

This role is responsible for ensuring high software quality across the entire development lifecycle, following a strong AI-first approach where the use of AI is an integral and mandatory part of daily work. It includes leveraging AI-driven tools and methodologies to enhance both manual and automated testing for mobile applications. The position involves planning and executing end-to-end testing, including functional, UI, and cross-browser tests, while continuously optimizing test coverage and efficiency through AI support. A key aspect of the role is identifying, tracking, and analyzing defects using AI-assisted insights, as well as driving root cause analysis and preventive improvements. The position requires close collaboration with cross-functional development teams to continuously enhance testing processes and quality standards.

• AI-First Quality Ownership: You take full ownership of software quality across the entire development lifecycle, consistently applying an AI-first mindset and using AI tools as an integral part of your daily work.
• AI-Supported Testing & Automation: You plan and execute manual and automated tests for mobile applications (functional, UI, cross-browser), leveraging AI to generate test cases, improve coverage, and optimize testing efficiency.
• Defect Analysis with AI Insights: You identify, prioritize, and track defects while using AI-driven insights to accelerate root cause analysis, detect patterns, and prevent recurring issues.
• Collaboration with Development Teams: You work closely with cross-functional development teams to continuously improve quality standards and testing processes.
• Release Readiness & Reporting: You validate release readiness, execute test cycles, and clearly communicate test results and quality status to stakeholders.

💫 Your profile:

• Education & Experience: You have a technical degree or a comparable education and at least 5 years professional experience.
• AI Mindset: You have hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools and use them daily as an integral part of your work, with a strong drive to integrate AI into your daily work.
• Tech-Stack: Ideally, you have experience with programming languages such as Java and JavaScript, tools like Git and Notepad++, and working with databases.
• Must-Have: You have hands-on experience in setting up QA processes, defining testing strategies, and performing software and hardware testing. Experience in banking or payments environments as well as testing of mobile and web applications is essential.
• Personality: You are motivated and resilient, possess strong communication skills, and enjoy working as part of a team.
• Language Skills: You can easily communicate in English in our intercultural environment in any situation; German is an advantage.
