Q/A Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated QA Engineer with 2-4 years of hands-on experience to join our Quality Engineering team. The ideal candidate is energetic, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering high-quality software. They should demonstrate a strong passion for quality, a willingness to learn modern testing tools and methodologies, and a drive to grow their expertise in both manual and automation testing.

Job Responsibilities:

• Design and execute functional, regression, integration, and sanity testing across web and mobile applications.
• Create, update, and maintain test cases, test scenarios, and test data based on requirements.
• Perform UI and API testing using automation testing tools.
• Support automation efforts by maintaining or writing basic automation scripts (Playwright, Cypress, Selenium).
• Identify, log, and track defects using standard bug-tracking tools.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including standups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
• Collaborate closely with developers, designers, and senior QA members.
• Perform basic SQL/database validation as part of end-to-end testing.
• Assist in smoke testing, release validation, and deployment testing.
• Continuously learn new QA tools and best practices.

Required Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 2-4 years of hands-on experience in software testing.
• Strong understanding of QA concepts, SDLC, and STLC.
• Good manual testing skills, basic automation experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman.
• Basic SQL knowledge for data validation.
• Understanding of JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python (plus).
• Knowledge of Git/GitHub.
• Good communication skills, attention to detail, and a learning mindset.

Experience:

• Minimum: 2 year
• Preferred: 4 Years

Education/Qualification:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
