The Automated Systems and Solutions Department is seeking a talented individual to join our team in either Brno or Bratislava.Job description
As a member of the department, you will collaborate closely with malware researchers and analysts to develop cutting-edge solutions for handling massive volumes of incoming files. Your responsibilities will encompass designing systems for efficient file classification, building robust scanning services, and contributing to the development of ESET's threat intelligence product. In addition, you will have the opportunity to take ownership of new projects from inception to completion, based on specific requirements.
This role offers a unique opportunity to work on a variety of projects, from enhancing existing products to creating innovative new solutions. Key Responsibilities
Develop and continuously improve internal tools for researchers and detection techniques.
Contribute to code review sessions and system architecture optimization.
Engage in process automation to enhance efficiency and performance.
Technologies
Primary: Python, Kafka, MySQL or PostgreSQL, Redis, Jenkins, Docker, JIRA, Git
Secondary: C#, ECS object storage, Kubernetes
Candidate Profile
We’re looking for middle-experienced software engineers with:
Proficiency in Python and data processing.
Experience with relational databases and Redis.
Knowledge of C# is advantageous but not mandatory.
Qualifications
At least bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science or Cybersecurity.
At least 2 years of professional experience as a Python Developer.
Basic proficiency in Linux, CI/CD (Jenkins), and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
Insights into computer security, network security, or reverse engineering are desirable.

Basic wage component (brutto): from 2700 EUR
* The final basic wage component can be increased accordingly to individual skills and experience of the selected candidate.
* Performance bonus 2 times per year up to 10% of the basic salary paid for the evaluation period(usually 6 months).
