Job Brief:
We are looking for an exceptional Software Developer to join our innovative IoT team at WINT. In this role, you will play a crucial part in shaping how we develop, test, and deploy our products. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to large-scale water management solutions through cutting-edge software and hardware integration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop Python-based applications to manage and optimize large-scale water systems.
- Implement, and optimize algorithms in Python.
- Develop and maintain microservices architecture to support scalable and resilient systems.
- Integrate and manage hardware components with the software stack.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Data Scientists, Cloud Developers, QA Engineers, and Product Managers, to drive project success.
- Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure high-quality code and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Provide ongoing maintenance, bug fixes, and updates for Linux-based systems post-deployment.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3+ years of software development experience.
- Proficiency in Python, including concurrency and multithreading.
- Experience developing on Linux platforms.
- Experience with Docker and Redis.
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
- Self-motivated, innovative, and passionate about engineering excellence with the ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with IoT communication protocols such as MQTT.
- Knowledge of SQL and experience managing data flow between IoT devices and cloud platforms.
- Familiarity with additional IoT-related technologies.
