As a Python Software Engineer Intern for TabaPay, you love jumping into to complex programming projects and delivering top notch code to fuel enhanced client solutions. What We’re Looking For
TabaPay is looking for an intern engineer to design and build new instant payment solutions, as well as improve our core technology. We are looking for an individual contributor who wants to code 90% of the time. If you are a top-notch programmer, enthusiastic team player and strong communicator, we want to hear from you.
What You’ll Do
Working closely with TabaPay’s product and engineering teams in a fast-paced dynamic environment to research, develop, integrate and optimize innovative payment solutions.

Assist in designing, coding, testing, and debugging Python applications.

Collaborate with software engineers to develop and enhance backend APIs and services.

Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.

Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.

Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems as required.

Work with databases (SQL/NoSQL) to manage and retrieve data efficiently.

Document development processes, code changes, and other technical information.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement innovative solutions.
Basic Qualifications
-
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field

1 year experience in back-end software engineering

Wants to code 90% of the time as an individual contributor
- Experience working in Python
The pay range for this position is $30/hr and requires in-person attendance 5 days a week in our Palo Alto HQ.
