- Strong experience in Python programming for data engineering and ETL development
- Hands-on expertise with DBT (Data Build Tool) for data transformation and modeling
- Experience in Apache Airflow for workflow orchestration and pipeline scheduling
- Strong knowledge of Apache Iceberg for Lakehouse implementation and table management
- Experience with Starburst/Trino for distributed query processing and federated analytics
- Good understanding of Graph Database concepts and implementations (Neo4j/Graph DB)
- Strong SQL skills with experience in complex queries and performance tuning
- Experience in data pipeline development, data validation, and optimization
- Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS/Azure/GCP is preferred
- Familiarity with CI/CD, Git, Agile methodology, and DevOps practices
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Python and DBT
- Build and manage workflow orchestration using Apache Airflow DAGs
- Implement and optimize Lakehouse architecture using Apache Iceberg
- Configure and support Starburst/Trino for distributed analytics and federated querying
- Develop reusable DBT models, transformations, and data marts for analytics reporting
- Work with Graph Database technologies to support relationship-based data analytics
- Perform data quality checks, reconciliation, and performance optimization activities
- Collaborate with data architects, analysts, and business stakeholders for requirement gathering and solution implementation
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data workflows and processing jobs
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, deployment, and production support activities
