Primary Responsibilities:
  • Development:
    • Primary Build and maintain Terraform infrastructure and GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines
    • Enhance and support VM Action Runner (VMAR) automation
    • Develop automation using Python, Bash, PowerShell, and YAML-based configurations
    • Design workflows, integrate APIs, and manage deployment documentation
    • Support VMware deployments, post-build processes, and vulnerability remediation
    • Collaborate with cross functional teams and contribute to containerization, Kubernetes/OpenShift, and modern web tooling
  • Technical:
    • Secondary Manage server deployments and virtualization using vSphere, VMware Cloud Foundation, and ESXi/vCenter
    • Deploy and administer Windows and Linux systems across hypervisors and hardware platforms (Dell, HP, Cisco UCS)
    • Configure iLO/iDRAC, HP OneView, and perform firmware, BIOS, and system updates
    • Administer Linux/Unix systems, storage (Local/SAN, RAID, mirroring), and network settings (IP/DNS, routing, firewalls)
    • Support Active Directory, MySQL/Postgres, and troubleshoot virtualization environments
    • Apply ITIL practices across Incident, Change, and Problem Management processes
    • Non-Technical Mentoring and guiding the team members with good attitude
    • Create and update SOP documentation in a timely manner
    • Provide metrics status for the deployment automation
    • Conduct KT session with the team and customers
    • Responsible for critical outage and urgent build request

Required Qualifications:
  • Software Engineering skillset: Automation (Backend Developer) + VMware Infrastructure JavaScript
    • JQuery
    • PowerShell
    • Github
    • Postman
    • Knowledgeable of using API
    • Docker
    • Kubernetes
    • FastAPI
    • NextJS
  • Technical Skillset: Experience with Windows/Linux Server operating systems in a Virtualized VMware Environments
    • Knowledge of VMware Infrastructure deployments with SDDC/NSX/VCF
    • Knowledge of ILO & iDrac configuration
    • Knowledgeable in Active Directory
    • Knowledgeable in Network IP/DNS, Gateway, Routing and Firewall
    • Knowledgeable in server system firmware and bios updates.
    • Knowledgeable with ESXi and vCenter Troubleshooting.
    • Knowledgeable in using vROps
  • Familiar with ticketing tools in order to track down incidents and change request (Service Now)
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot servers through console (Knowledge of ILO/IDRAC/HMC)
