The Role
This is an opportunity for an experienced Software Developer with a strong understanding of AI-assisted development and prompt engineering. Ideally this person will have hands-on development experience and be knowledgeable in how AI technologies and prompt-based workflows can be leveraged to improve software development and business processes.
What You’ll Do
- Design, develop, and maintain software solutions using modern programming languages.
- Utilize AI tools and prompt engineering techniques to support development and productivity initiatives.
- Create, refine, and optimize prompts for AI-powered development workflows.
- Collaborate with technical teams to identify opportunities for AI-enabled process improvements.
- Apply development best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Support experimentation and adoption of emerging AI technologies within development
What We’re Looking For
- 4-5+ years of software development experience.
- Strong programming experience in one or more of:
- Python
- Java
- Node.js
- Solid understanding of software development principles and best practices.
- Experience working with AI tools, generative AI platforms, or prompt engineering concepts.
- Ability to effectively apply AI technologies to software development and operational activities.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Experience incorporating AI-assisted development tools into daily workflows.
- Familiarity with prompt design, optimization, and testing techniques.
- Understanding of how AI technologies can enhance developer productivity and automation.

Pay Transparency
The salary range for this position is listed below. Additionally, this position may also be eligible to receive an annual discretionary/variable bonus payment.

The base pay offered to selected candidates will be within the salary range and the placement will vary based upon a variety of factors, including, but not limited to job-related knowledge, skills, experience and internal equity.
Skills Required
- Commercial experience developing backend applications using Python.
- Hands-on experience with Prompt Engineering and generative AI prompt engineering techniques.
- Experience working with AI technologies including Large Language Models (LLMs) and Generative AI solutions.
- Experience building RESTful APIs and scalable backend architectures.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate within Agile delivery teams.
- Experience within financial services or consulting environments.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or other containerization technologies.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Experience integrating AI or LLM-based capabilities into enterprise applications.
