Job Description
Help shape the future of JPMorgan and join a brand new team looking to improve our investment portfolio and provide scorecards to help evaluate future decisions!
As a PXT Finance Investments Manager, you will focus on building an investment scorecard to support prospective investment decisions and evaluating past investment decisions. You will be assigned a set of product portfolios and partner with their finance and product leadership to understand the forward-looking roadmap of investment opportunities, gain a deep understanding of these projects, and collect the data necessary to populate an investment scorecard. Upon project completion, you will work to conduct post-implementation reviews to gain learnings and strengthen the investment process going forward.
We are looking for someone who is excited about the prospect of being part of a brand-new team and enjoys building new systems from scratch. You will also provide analytical insight into ways to improve the investment scorecard and investment process overall. The right candidate is someone who can become a trusted partner to product leaders, who can empathize with them, and who seeks to truly understand the potential benefits and risks of new projects as they are proposed.
Job Responsibilities:

  • Become a trusted partner of the product teams you cover; truly understand both the benefits and risks of each project
  • Contribute to reporting and analytical insights on the mix of investments across all product portfolios
  • Help build out team systems and contribute to the ongoing development of the investment scorecard
  • Conduct post-implementation reviews on projects to assess if they delivered on their stated benefits; synthesize these results and use these learnings to improve the investment process
  • Mentor junior members of the team and help them grow in their careers

Required Qualifications, skills, and capabilities:

  • 6 or more years professional experience in a technical field (e.g., finance, technology, economics)
  • Strong problem-solving skills, comfort with ambiguity, and ability to build new systems from scratch
  • Excellent written, oral, and visual communications skills and a comfort interacting with senior leaders
  • Able to build relationships across a broad organization
  • Solid organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to deliver iterative progress quickly

Preferred Qualifications, skills, and capabilities:

  • Prior experience as a product manager, program manager, developer, or in other technology roles a plus
