Greenvolt is looking for a PV & BESS Project Manager for our offices in Madrid, who will be required to project guidelines and standards to ensure their development and construction run smoothly, meet company quality standards, and meet deadlines and financial objectives.

Key accountabilities

  • Support the planning, organization, and coordination of solar PV & BESS projects, helping to ensure progress towards "Ready-to-Build" (RTB) status. Followed by “Commercial operation day” (COD).
  • Collaborate with stakeholders: Work with internal teams, contractors, and external partners to achieve project milestones, following clear guidelines for deadlines and budgetary objectives.
  • Monitor project progress: Track project activities to ensure work meets quality standards, stays on schedule, and remains within budget.
  • Support senior project managers: Provide assistance to senior project managers during the development and construction phases, learning from their guidance to ensure project success.
  • Help identify risks: Assist in identifying potential risks in project execution and contribute to developing mitigation plans.
  • Contribute to reporting: Help prepare reports and project updates for senior management, including progress, budget status, timelines, and key issues.
  • Assist in contract negotiations: Provide support in negotiating Supply, EPC, and O&M contracts, ensuring terms align with project needs.
  • Build stakeholder relationships: Support the maintenance of positive relationships with key stakeholders, including external partners and government officials, representing the company’s interests.

Requirements
  • University degree in Engineering, Business Administration or related. MBA would be appreciated;
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in business development, construction, and project management with a strong background in renewable energies;
  • Experience or understanding of the energy regulatory environment within European markets, external stakeholder management, public and regulatory affairs, and lobbying;
  • Good knowledge of English language;
  • Traveling required
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills required;
  • Good project management skills;
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
