The Catamaran Pursuit Coordinator plays a critical role in supporting RSM’s Outsourced Solutions practice by managing single- and multi-service pursuits throughout the full proposal and RFP lifecycle. This role partners closely with Business Development, Engagement Leaders, Solution Architects, Client Account teams, and Catamaran leadership to deliver high-quality, timely, and competitive proposal responses that drive growth and strengthen client relationships. The Pursuit Coordinator ensures governance, compliance, operational efficiency, and consistency across Catamaran’s pursuit processes and contributes directly to improved win rates, faster cycle times, and enhanced client experience.
Key ResponsibilitiesPursuit Management & IntakeManage deal intake, qualification, and routing for Catamaran pursuits.
Ensure alignment with the Catamaran Pursuit Lifecycle from pre-pipeline through contracting.
Serve as a central coordination point across internal stakeholders.
Lead development of RFP responses, proposals, and supporting materials.
Own timelines, deliverables, and version control to ensure timely, accurate submissions.
Collaborate with solutioning and pricing partners to produce tailored, competitive proposals.
Uphold Catamaran’s governance standards (CLEAR, CRISP, intake protocols).
Manage compliance requirements, documentation, and audit-ready records.
Support independence checks, contracting workflows, and proposal governance practices.
Streamline pursuit operations to reduce cycle times and remove bottlenecks.
Improve internal collaboration and communication across Catamaran teams.
Maintain pursuit artifacts, templates, content, and best-practice materials.
Provide white-glove support throughout the pursuit lifecycle.
Ensure consistent, responsive communication that strengthens client trust.
Support post-submission follow-up, clarifications, and next-step coordination.
Experience supporting proposal development, pursuits, or sales operations within a professional services environment.
Strong organizational, project management, and communication skills.
Ability to manage competing deadlines across multiple, complex pursuits.
Understanding of RFP processes, governance workflows, and multi-service solutioning.
Experience working cross-functionally with business development, delivery, pricing, and contracting teams.
Detail-oriented with strong ownership and follow-through
Ability to work in fast-paced, high-volume pursuit environments
Excellent written communication and proposal-quality editing skills
Proactive problem-solver with strong stakeholder management abilities
