Summary:

Greenliving.in is seeking an experienced Purchase Senior Specialist to manage and optimize procurement activities across categories. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in supplier qualification, price negotiations, contract management, and strategic sourcing, while ensuring cost efficiency, quality, and sustainability standards.

Responsibilities:

Procurement & Sourcing

·      Lead end-to-end procurement activities including sourcing, vendor evaluation, negotiations, and order execution.

·      Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers in line with quality, cost, delivery, and sustainability requirements.

·      Develop sourcing strategies to ensure continuity of supply and cost optimization.

Supplier Qualification & Management

·      Conduct supplier qualification and periodic performance reviews.

·      Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key suppliers.

·      Ensure suppliers comply with Greenliving.in's ethical, quality, and sustainability standards.

Negotiation & Cost Management

·      Negotiate pricing, payment terms, lead times, and service levels to achieve best value.

·      Analyze cost structures and market trends to drive savings and efficiency.

·      Support cost-reduction and value-engineering initiatives.

Contract Management

·      Draft, review, and manage procurement contracts, agreements, and SLAs.

·      Ensure compliance with contractual terms and resolve disputes where required.

·      Track contract renewals and manage amendments proactively.

Process & Compliance

·      Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and applicable regulations.

·      Maintain accurate procurement documentation and records.

·      Support continuous improvement of procurement processes and systems.

Collaboration & Reporting

·      Work closely with internal teams such as operations, finance, quality, and logistics.

·      Prepare procurement reports on spend analysis, supplier performance, and savings achieved.

·      Support forecasting and inventory planning activities as needed.

Qualifications & Experience

·      Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field.

·      5–8 years of experience in procurement or strategic sourcing, preferably in FMCG, retail, or sustainability-focused sectors.

·      Strong experience in supplier qualification, negotiations, and contract management.

·      Excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

·      Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Excel.

·      Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

·      Experience working with eco-friendly, sustainable, or ethical supply chains.

·      Professional certifications (e.g., CIPS, CPSM) are an advantage.

·      Experience managing domestic and/or international suppliers.
