Job Purpose

To develop and execute Thailand‑market purchasing and pricing strategies that ensure competitive raw material sourcing (Plastics, Polymers) , optimized margins, and strong supplier performance. The role integrates procurement intelligence, pricing governance, and cross‑functional collaboration to support profitable growth and commercial decision‑making.

Key Responsibilities
1. Pricing Strategy & Governance
  • Define and implement Thailand‑specific pricing frameworks aligned with business goals.

  • Establish pricing principles, approval guardrails, and discount/rebate structures.

  • Lead pricing review forums to ensure data‑driven pricing decisions.

2. Margin & Profitability Management
  • Monitor pricing performance, margin trends, and cost fluctuations.

  • Conduct scenario analysis and profitability assessments to support commercial strategy.

  • Recommend corrective actions to improve value capture.

3. Purchase Strategy & Supplier Management
  • Develop sourcing strategies for raw materials and category‑specific procurement.

  • Maintain strong relationships with Thai and regional suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and reliable supply.

  • Evaluate supplier performance, risk, quality, and compliance.

4. Market & Competitor Intelligence
  • Analyze Thailand market trends, competitor pricing, and cost drivers.

  • Provide actionable insights to sales, finance, and leadership teams.

5. Documentation & Compliance
  • Ensure adherence to procurement policies, pricing governance, and regulatory requirements.

  • Maintain accurate purchasing records, pricing files, and audit‑ready documentation.

6. Cross‑Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, and Operations to align pricing and procurement decisions.

  • Support commercial teams with rapid pricing inputs for deal closures.

7. Cost Management & Value Optimization
  • Drive cost‑saving initiatives and negotiate favorable terms with suppliers.

  • Monitor cost headwinds and develop mitigation plans.


Requirements
Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Economics, Statistics, or related fields.

  • MBA preferred.

Experience
  • 3–7 years in procurement, pricing, supply chain, or commercial strategy roles.

  • Experience in category management, supplier negotiation, or pricing analytics.

Skills
  • Strong analytical and numerical accuracy.

  • Advanced MS Excel (Pivot Table, VLOOKUP) and data analysis capability.

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

  • Ability to translate complex data into clear business recommendations.

Skills Required
