Requirements


Purchase Ledger Assistant:

  • Pay all invoices accurately, promptly and within payment terms
  • Code and enter invoices onto the SUN Accounts Package
  • Send out invoices for authorisation to relevant cost centres across the company
  • Run payment reports and upload into Lloydslink online platform
  • Statement reconciliation’s
  • Carry out payment enquiries from suppliers
  • Create End of Month reports and assisting with yearly audit
  • Make deductions where applicable to payments
  • Code and enter company credit card expenses, cheque requests, petty cash and expense claims for all employees/branches
  • Pay company expense claims weekly
  • Deal with supplier reconciliation and email queries within 24 hours of email receipt
  • Continually update all relevant spread sheets
  • Other ad-hoc administration duties

The Person:

  • Experience in a similar role is preferable
  • Competent user of all Microsoft Office programs
  • Proactive, hard-working with a 'can do' attitude
