Overview & Responsibilities
· Deep knowledge of engineering/design principles.
Thorough knowledge of Elliott product specifications and features including design/manufacturing principles.
· Strong knowledge of operational processes in Elliott and knowledge of industry practice and standards.
· Understands company cost structure and how to develop full and accurate cost totals.
Strong understanding of project execution processes and standards.
· The job requires substantial contact with various departments within the company and suppliers.
· Position will require membership in internal Cross-Functional teams and Supplier Alliance Teams.
· May have contact with both internal and external customers in coordination meetings and other problem areas.
Strong negotiating and influencing skills are required as a leader and when making deals with suppliers.
· Works under limited direction with greater discretion in decision making.
Works on larger projects with more complex choices in commodities and terms.
· Bachelor degree in business or a related field, or equivalent in related work experience.
