Role Summary:
The Pump Applications Engineer is responsible for providing technical and commercial support to our Sales team with the goal of obtaining purchase orders for FLS Pumps that meet the quality expectations of our customers. In this role you will develop solutions for customers and partners for industrial and specialty applications. You will act as a product specialist in a team and work closely with sales, development and other specialized departments in the plant.
Responsibilities:
Supporting the customer base defined in the office.
Evaluation of requests, generation of solution proposals.
Cost calculation, if necessary, in cooperation with the relevant departments.
Technical and commercial preparation of quotations.
Acceptance, review and preparation of orders (complete order).
Other assigned tasks.
Requirements:
Experience as Application Engineer or similar function such as, inside sales representative, Engineer.
Good communication skills.
Strong technical acumen and analytical thinking.
Degree or diploma in Mechanical, Industrial, Metalworking.
Engineering in relevant field and 3-5 years experience with centrifugal pumps in a similar position.
Fluent English (written and oral).
