Supports screen-printing production by preparing screens, inks, squeegees, and flood bars; inspecting garments for quality; communicating issues to press operators and supervisors; reclaiming ink during teardown; and maintaining a clean, safe work area. As a Puller at REDWALL, you'll play a key role in our manufacturing process. You'll help ensure that our prduction line runs smoothly and efficiently, catching and organizing products as they come off the print press. Your work will help us maintain high standards of quality and keep our customers happy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Read, write and understand work orders, mockups and instructions in job packet
- Assist the Press Operator obtaining the correct screens and inks for the Job
- Prepare Squeegee and flood bar to be use quality control each shirt before pulling off the press
- Inform the Press Operator of any quality issues with the garments (shirt, hoodies)
- Pull all ink from screens during tear down and scrape back into correct buckets
- Communicate with the catcher any concerns that you might have of the garments (shirts, hoodies) pulled of the Press
- Maintain work area clean at all the times. (before and after shift)
- Report any safety issues to your supervisor
- Report any quality issues to your supervisor immediately
Required Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent experience
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Must be able to read and write (understand work orders, mockups and instructions in job packet)
- Must have the ability to identify colors
- Basic Math Skills (addition, subtraction, division, etc.)
- Be able to work quickly and efficiently
- Attention to detail is a MUST
- Have a positive attitude and able to follow instructions
- Be on time for work at all times (your shift)
- Maintain work area clean at all times (Before and After your shift)
- Maintain safe work environment and report any safety issues to your supervisor
- May be required to work weekends (Saturdays) and or overtime during busy period
- Candidates with knowledge in graphic arts are preferred, but not required
Physical Demands:
- Hands-on, fast paced printing production environment
- Standing on your feet for a long period of time 8-10 hours per day
- Will be exposed to warm or cold temperature
- Must be able to lift up to 35lbs - 50lbs.
