We are revolutionizing the online ad-serving industry for advertisers, publishers, and networks alike and are seeking to recruit a Publishing Account Manager (OpenWeb) for our Barcelona office.

Role

This position encompasses both Sales and Account Management responsibilities. You will be responsible for developing and managing effective relationships with a portfolio of 25-40 global publishers (webmasters) that are important to our business due to either their geographical, strategic or revenue importance.

Your performance will be evaluated on periodical revenue goals and KPIs. You will be expected to utilise all the internal tools and resources at your disposal to reach these goals and develop first class customer loyalty in order to grow the revenue generated by your assigned portfolio of clients. 

You will report numbers and portfolio status to the Head of Publishing and the OpenWebTeam Manager.

Profile 

  • 2+ years experience in online sales/digital marketing.
  • You understand the general needs of online advertisers and publishers.
  • Experience in account management achieving revenue goals.
  • Strong team player and contributor. 
  • Extremely organised and rigorous, with strong analytical skills. 
  • Analytical mind.
  • Talented in Excel, utilising spreadsheets.
  • Able to negotiate and establish long term contracts, build credibility and provide a leading customer experience for your clients.  
  • Independent and proactive, with strong communication skills.
  • An overachiever, result-oriented and highly motivated.

Requirements

  • Fluent English is a must. Other languages will be highly valued.
  • You have a strong knowledge of, and working proficiency with, similar technology platforms and/or ad networks.
  • A minimum of technical skills i.e. HTML, JavaScript tags, Analytics tools, etc. 
  • Perfect knowledge of the different ad models: CPC, CPM, CPA, CPV, etc.
  • Good communicator, negotiator and team player.
  • You have the ability to identify publisher needs quickly and effectively.
  • Experience as a Webmaster/Blogger and/or Affiliate will also be highly valued.
