Based in Herndon, Virginia, our Iron Mountain Public Sector unit caters to a diverse range of clients including U.S. Federal government agencies, State, Local, and Educational entities, as well as Canadian Federal, Provincial, and Municipal organizations.
As a Public Sector Contracts Specialist, you’ll play a crucial role in:
- Ensuring Compliance: Assess and manage customer orders under Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPA) and Master Services Agreements (MSA), making sure they meet all contractual, operational, and compliance requirements. Enter approved orders into our ORBIT workflow and contract repository systems.
- Managing Renewals: Oversee the renewal of existing contracts by notifying customers, handling internal modifications, tracking delinquent renewals, and coordinating the close-out of non-renewed accounts.
- Maintaining Pricing Integrity: Assist in Federal pricing compliance reviews to ensure our pricing meets the Price Reductions Clause (PRC) requirements and aligns with Master Service Agreements, SLED Cooperative Agreements, and Canadian contracts.
- Administering Vendor Certifications: Support the review of customer Vendor Certification forms and manage public sector database submissions, including SAM, DUNS, TIN, and CPARS.
- Supporting Contract Performance: Aid in the administration of prime/subcontracts, handle contract changes and modifications, and assist with performance-related questions and issues.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; a minimum of two years business or related experience is preferred.
- Uncompromising integrity and dependability.
- Working familiarity with Public Sector or commercial contracting concepts.
- Good analytical and communication skills.
- Attention to detail, particularly as it relates to adhering to internal processes and company policy.
- Good collaboration skills.
- Ability to apply independent judgment to assist in the resolution of contract and compliance issues.
- Ability to learn and effectively operate a contract repository database and automated workflow.
- Self-directed.
- Strong Google Suite and Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills,
- Strong process and time management skills.
