ICF Next is looking for a Public Relations trainee to join the PR team.
Main PR responsibilities
- Mapping of media outlets, podcasters, stakeholder organisations and influencers within the framework of European projects/campaigns
- Pitching and reaching out to media outlets, podcasters, stakeholder organisations and influencers by e-mail and phone (mostly in English but any additional languages is an asset)
- Providing support to the handling and coordination of our network of local PR agencies implementing projects at a local level
- Checking online content generated by online users
- Assessing the content based on a set of community guidelines and flagging the content that is not in line with these guidelines
- Monitoring PR and social media activities and projects/campaigns’ pick up via dedicated monitoring tools or manual desk research
- Analysis, reporting and presentation of results in dedicated reports and presentations
- Handling of administrative tasks
Requirements
- Attention to details
- Good storytelling and pitching skills
- Good written communication skills
- Excellent knowledge of English (any other language will be considered an asset)
- Good understanding of EU institutions and interest in communicating about EU policies to EU citizens
- At ease with Microsoft Office, mailings and survey tools
- Proactive, solution-oriented and can-do mindset
- Good interpersonal skills
- Good organisational skills, multitasking and ability to meet deadlines
- Willingness in acquiring new skills and undertaking new tasks
- Quick learner, receptive to new information and assignments
