We are currently seeking a Public Relations Specialist to support operations in MacDill AFB, FL. This position is contingent on contract award. This is a full-time, CONUS position requiring an active DoD TS/SCI Level clearance.
As a Public Relations Specialist, you will support U.S. Central Command (USCENTCOM) at MacDill AFB, Florida. This position works alongside military and government personnel to support operational and strategic requirements, joint planning efforts, and mission objectives across the CENTCOM area of responsibility. You will provide subject matter expertise, contribute to planning and coordination efforts, and support senior leaders in executing USCENTCOM priorities.
- Provide expertise on development and synchronization of Communication strategies and plans
- Provide SME input during drafting of KLE policies
- Provide recommendations in design of KLE management tools
- Track key themes and messages from USG leaders for CONPLAN/OPLAN synchronization
- Provide expertise on integration of Communication plans across PA, IO, and KLE disciplines
- Develop and update Annex Y: Commander's Communication Strategy
- Provide FOIA/MDR coordination support
Education Requirements
- Joint Professional Military Education (JPME) I preferred.
- Corporate marketing experience preferred.
- 5+ yrs planning in PA, IO, KLE, or CA
Security Requirement
Applicants selected for this position will be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. TS/SCI clearance is required.
Skills Required
- 5+ years of planning experience in Public Affairs, Information Operations, Key Leader Engagement, or Civil Affairs
- Active DoD TS/SCI security clearance
- Joint Professional Military Education Phase I
- Corporate marketing experience
