The Four Seasons Hotel Chicago is looking for a talented Public Relations Intern! We are seeking a social media savvy individual. This role would be focused on managing our Hotel's social media channels, in addition to some general PR support.
What you will do
Scheduling and maintenance of monthly social calendars (Adorn and Brand) through Sprout and Instagram app, crafting 4-5 weekly posts on brand, crafting 2-3 Weekly posts on Adorn
Ensuring all departments/ outlets are represented within the brand social calendar
Designing and monitoring stories for reshares
Daily engagement with social community - including comments, liking and sharing fitting tagged posts on stories or grid), and engaging with other properties and alike accounts for increased engagement
Creating social-first content throughout our outlets
Maintaining an ECI-approved grid
Monitoring our success metrics on Sprout
Influencer vetting and relations, creating creative briefs, drafting and finalizing contracts, booking stays and itinerary, ensuring communication and clear deliverables are agreed upon
Monitoring trends and brand-safe opportunities to increase relevancy and new-following
What you bring
Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Advertising, Journalism, or a related field.
Prior PR experience preferred
Self starter and proactive in nature
Detail oriented for editing, copywriting and content calendar management - very deadline conscious.
Tapped into the latest social media and cultural trends with an ability to adapt for our brand
Creative yet organized and nimble enough to update content plans according to Hotel needs
Familiar with Instagram settings, crating stories, short form videos for reels, etc.
