About the Role

The Public Relations Coordinator plays a key role in supporting eMed’s communications and public relations efforts. This on-site position supports brand and executive storytelling while ensuring messaging aligns with healthcare regulations and business priorities. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and eager to grow within healthcare communications.

Who You’ll Work With

  • Reports to and collaborates closely with the Head of Communications.
  • You’ll also engage with eMed’s PR agency partners and other external partners, including journalists and event organizers, to elevate eMed’s profile and amplify its mission.
What You’ll Do
  • Support execution of eMed’s communications strategy.
  • Assist with drafting and/or editing press releases, media pitches, statements, and internal communications. 
  • Help draft and/or edit briefing books, blogs, op-eds, scripts and talking points for eMed’s executive leadership. 
  • Support PR agency in pitching efforts.  
  • Maintain and update and coverage trackers. 
  • Monitor media coverage, industry news, and healthcare trends relevant to eMed.
  • Support preparation for press briefings, company announcements, and executive interviews. 
  • Assist in gathering accurate information, deliverables and manage logistics for speaking engagements and events. 
  • Ensure messaging is consistent, compliant, and aligned with eMed’s brand voice.
  • Support reporting on PR metrics, earned media, and campaign performance. 
What You Have
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable working on-site and collaborating cross-functionally.
What We Are Looking For 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Communications (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum of 3 years in communications, with experience in healthcare preferred.
