In this role, you will:
- Manage and monitor incoming press inquiries, ensuring timely and appropriate responses.
- Develop comprehensive briefing materials to prepare spokespeople for media interactions and speaking engagements.
- Create and maintain detailed documents for media events, interviews, and team meetings.
- Build and update targeted media lists to support pitching and new initiatives
- Execute daily media monitoring and compile reports to track coverage and industry trends, providing insights to inform media strategy.
- Produce and distribute engaging weekly media recaps to keep stakeholders informed of relevant coverage and industry developments.
- Assist with content creation and strategic communications initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on communications objectives and deliverables.
Qualifications
- 2-3 years of communications experience in either an in-house or agency setting
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills and systematic approach to task management
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and take initiative
- Team player who thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys working with different teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience in consumer technology sector
- Familiarity with media monitoring and analytics tools
- Demonstrated experience working effectively across departments and with various stakeholders
