Who is a Public Relations Coordinator?

The Public Relations Coordinator supports the execution of GoodLife Fitness’ partnership, public relations, influencer, and special events initiatives. This role is responsible for coordinating day-to-day activities, managing logistics, supporting partner communications, and ensuring operational excellence across programs and activations. Working closely with the Senior Manager and cross-functional teams, the Public Relations Coordinator helps bring partnerships and brand initiatives to life through strong organization, attention to detail, and timely execution that supports broader business, brand, and engagement objectives.

What will you be doing?

Special Events & Activations Support

  • Supports planning and execution of special events, activations, and experiences, including logistics, vendor coordination, and on-site support.
  • Assists with event timelines, budgets, contracts, and post-event reporting.
  • Coordinates internal teams and external suppliers to ensure smooth and professional execution.
  • Supports post-event evaluations and documentation of learnings to inform future initiatives.

Influencer Program Coordination

  • Supports the day-to-day coordination of GoodLife’s Influencer Program, including onboarding, scheduling, and communications.
  • Assists with content tracking, approvals, and asset management to ensure alignment with brand guidelines.
  • Maintains influencer databases, contracts, and performance trackers.
  • Supports reporting and analysis of influencer performance metrics and campaign outcomes.
  • Monitors industry and social trends to support ongoing program optimization. 

Partnership & Program Coordination

  • Supports the execution of partnership initiatives, activations, and campaigns by coordinating timelines, deliverables, and approvals.
  • Assists with partner onboarding, communications, and relationship management, ensuring a positive and professional experience.
  • Maintains partnership trackers, contracts, reporting documents, and internal resources.
  • Coordinates internal stakeholders to ensure partnership commitments are delivered accurately and on time.
  • Supports research and preparation for potential partnership opportunities as directed by the Senior Manager.

Public Relations & Communication Support

  • Supports the execution of public relations initiatives, including media monitoring, content coordination, and reporting.
  • Assists with the development, editing, and coordination of PR materials, presentations, briefing notes, and internal communications.
  • Coordinates approvals, timelines, and distribution of communications assets across teams and external partners.
  • Acts as a point of coordination with agencies and vendors, supporting workflows and ensuring deliverables are met.
  • Provides administrative and project support for special events.

Do you have what it takes?

  • Bachelor’s degree, post graduate degree or diploma in public relations/communications or integrated marketing
  • 1–3 years of experience in marketing, partnerships, public relations/communications, events, or related coordination roles
  • Strong organizational and project coordination skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Strong knowledge of social media and digital platforms
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross functional teams
  • Strong time management and follow-through
  • Professional judgment, discretion, and integrity
  • Passion for health, fitness, and wellness

Compensation:

It is expected that the selected candidate will start at a base salary of $49,000. The annual range of expected compensation for the position is $49,000 - $61,000 determined by performance and time in the position.
