Job Summary:
PsiQuantum is seeking a talented policy professional to join our Public Sector team and support our efforts in the US national security space. The ideal candidate will have a background in US government relations, national security, technology, and defense policy. This role requires a blend of strong research and writing skills, communication, and a proven track record of managing and supporting projects from inception to completion.
You will work as an integral part of the Public Sector team and support PsiQuantum’s growth in the national security space.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct research and analysis on US government activity, including DoD budget data, congressional hearings, and legislation to guide PsiQuantum’s growth and engagement opportunities in the public sector.
- Produce engagement briefs, policy memos, and event readouts for an executive audience.
- Support strategic engagements, external meetings, trips, and events.
- Work collaboratively across government relations, business development, and technical teams on various initiatives related to public sector engagement.
Experience/Qualifications:
- 5+ years experience in government affairs, business development, or US national security / defense industry role.
- Familiarity with the congressional defense budgeting process, as well as general US government industry participants and associated technologies.
- Working knowledge of congressional relations and supporting engagement with legislative and government stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
