Aramco Americas Public Affairs serves a dual role in Houston - first to support and advocate the overall business interests of Saudi Aramco in North America, and second to maintain a positive image locally through programs of good corporate citizenship. These efforts complement Saudi Aramco's global reputation as a reliable supplier of energy while promoting important intercultural understanding.
Summer Student Corporate Communications Opportunity
Assists the corporate communications team in the development of communications and digital strategy in support of Aramco Services Company (ASC) and serves as onsite representative for communications at events and with partners on PR activities. Works with other communications team members in the planning and execution of corporate communication services to advance the company’s reputation and raise awareness for Saudi Aramco’s (SAO) role and presence in the U.S.
Typical activities Include:
- Assists in managing websites and other digital channels
- Assists in creating digital content: writing, photo/video shoots, social media
- Communications and analytics reporting
- Assists in event planning and staffing
- Other administrative tasks TBD
Summer Student Events/Citizenship Opportunity
The summer student will assist Brand Strategy professionals with sponsored events, conferences, or projects.
- Will be supporting the food bank volunteer events; onsite logistics and preparation (t-shirt pickup, etc.)
- Support School Supply drive
- Help with writing highlights on events and activities for PA
- Organizing PA inventory
Summer Student Publications Opportunity
The summer student will assist with various tasks completed by Publications professionals.
Typical activities Include:
Editorial (publication):
- Conduct research for long features, historic objects series, and the learning center.
- Assist with fact checking and writing infographics, and timelines.
- Work on special projects as needed – such as the annual calendar.
- Assist in writing newsletters, captions, and book reviews.
Digital:
- Create and schedule new social media posts on Instagram and Facebook.
- Assist with online only content such as posting new photos or articles on the website.
Administrative:
- Help organize archives.
- Content collaboration with other Aramco branches and contributors.
Opportunity eligible for internship course credit (credits earned), please check with your Academic Advisor or University.
