Our global Finance Operations carries out accounting tasks and provides financial and purchasing services for our Stora Enso Business Areas.

We are now looking for a university student to join our finance team in Ostrava as a PtP Trainee.
In this position you will gain hands-on experience in the Purchase-to-Pay process, including tasks related to Accounts Payable and Purchasing.
Our trainee program is suitable for a university student of Finance, Economics, International Business, or related fields who is seeking valuable experience while pursuing their degree.
You'll work 20 hours per week while pursuing your studies, with a flexible schedule that aligns with your academic commitments.
We are looking for a trainee who can commit until August 2027.
You will be located in our modern office in Organica Building in Ostrava, Czechia and report to PtP team lead.
Key Responsibilities of the position:
Perform daily tasks within the Purchase-to-Pay (P2P) area, including Accounts Payable and Purchasing
Responding to and resolving customer queries
Developing understanding of SAP and/or other financial service modules
Supporting month-end closing activities in the P2P area
Collaborating with team members and other departments
Ensuring that all tasks are performed accurately and on time
Carrying out other work-related tasks as assigned by the direct manager
What we expect you to have or know:
Interest in understanding financial processes and principles
Ability to work 20 hours per week alongside your university studies
Ability to communicate effectively in English (both written and spoken)
Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced, international environment
Knowledge of MS Office and willingness to learn SAP
Team player with a proactive and detail-oriented approach

We offer this position for 1 year, with the possibility to prolong the contract.
