Job Summary
The Project Manager for Global Initiatives is responsible for the successful execution of the G100 Global Leaders ThM Scholarship Program, a cohort-based, five-year international program in which 100 students study online for three years from their home countries, then relocate to Dallas for two years of residential study to complete the Master of Theology degree. This role serves as the operational and administrative hub of G100, coordinating all program phases from student recruitment and enrollment through graduation. The Project Manager manages program timelines, student communications, institutional workflows, and cross-departmental relationships to ensure smooth program delivery and student success. This role is essential to G100's sustainability and directly supports the Senior Director's strategic oversight and decision-making. While initially focused on G100, this role has potential to expand to support other strategic initiatives within Global Initiatives as the department grows.

Key Responsibilities

Supporting the Senior Director
  • Provide research, analysis, and strategic documentation to support the Senior Director's institutional planning and executive decision-making.
  • Maintain comprehensive project tracking, status reporting, and institutional dashboards to keep leadership informed of G100 progress and emerging issues.
  • Serve as the operational backbone for G100, handling cross-departmental coordination so the Senior Director can focus on strategic relationships and institutional alignment.
  • Prepare briefing materials, metrics, and performance summaries for Executive Committee meetings and leadership presentations.
Planning
  • Finalize the G100 program plan, timelines, phase gates, and milestone schedules for both FA27 and FA28 cohorts.
  • Create and maintain program documentation including RACI matrices, decision logs, and process workflows.
Executing
  • Manage operational aspects of G100 during online (years 1-3) and residential (years 4-5) phases.
  • Serve as central coordinator between students, mentors, academic departments, Enrollment Services, International Student Development (ISD), Housing, Financial Aid, and DSO/Immigration Services.
  • Coordinate student transitions to Dallas: housing, course scheduling, visa processing, and orientation.
  • Manage G100 communications and execute key events (orientations, cohort check-ins, degree ceremonies).

Monitoring & Controlling

  • Track student progress (course completion, GPA, visa status). Work with Academic Advising and ISD to identify at-risk students for proactive support.
  • Compile G100 metrics (enrollment, retention, completion rates, mentor engagement) and prepare status reports for leadership.
  • Coordinate referrals to academic and support resources in collaboration with Academic Advising and ISD.
  • Monitor G100 budget expenditures and spending against approved allocations.
  • Coordinate with Finance on scholarship fund disbursement and track student tuition/fee payments.
  • Maintain documentation of budget decisions and fund allocations for reporting and auditing purposes.
  • Alert the Senior Director to budget variances or funding issues requiring attention.

Closing

  • Lead retrospective assessment of program outcomes and cohort performance.
  • Evaluate recruitment, admissions, and enrollment processes to identify lessons learned for future G100 cohorts and related programs.
  • Document program decisions, challenges, and best practices for institutional learning.

Project Management & Documentation

  • Use Asana and Microsoft tools to track tasks, deadlines, and cross-departmental coordination.
  • Maintain centralized G100 records and documentation to ensure program continuity and institutional accountability.
