Job Description

About the Role

This role will work across the Group Therapy Programs, delivered to day patients.  Therapy aims to provide support, skills and education in the treatment and management of a range of mental health illnesses.

This role also involves the planning and facilitation of group services for patients.

 

Your Skills and Experience 

  • Facilitating group therapy using Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Mindfulness.
  • Accredited undergraduate degree in Psychology, APHRA registered and unrestricted general registration with the Psychology Board of Australia
  • Post-graduate qualifications in Clinical Psychology
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to be self-motivated and function autonomously whilst also being able to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
