Boston Medical Center Health System is seeking a compassionate and collaborative Psychiatrist to join our growing Behavioral Health team supporting BMC Brighton and BMC South. As a Psychiatrist with BMC Health System, you will work alongside a multidisciplinary team dedicated to improving access to behavioral healthcare across the Greater Boston community. You will also play an important role in resident and medical student education within an academic environment focused on innovation, collaboration, and patient-centered care.

- Prescribe and monitor psychotropic medications while ensuring safe and effective treatment plans
- Collaborate with physicians, psychologists, nurses, social workers, and other care team members to coordinate patient care
- Participate in psychiatric emergency evaluations and crisis intervention services
- Participate in after-hours, weekend, and holiday on-call coverage rotations
- Supervise and mentor residents and medical students
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation within the electronic medical record
- Support continued growth of referral relationships throughout BMC Health System
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
- Completion of an accredited Psychiatry residency program
- Massachusetts medical license or eligibility for licensure
- DEA and Massachusetts Controlled Substance Registration
- BLS Certification
- Experience working within multidisciplinary behavioral health teams preferred

The base salary of the finalist selected for this role will be determined based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to clinical FTE, qualifications, experience, education, board certifications, specialty, training, and scope of practice. The above hiring range represents a good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. Any eligible incentive compensation is not included in the above compensation range and will be discussed during the interview process.
