Psychiatrist (Outpatient)

Position Description: Oswego Health is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Psychiatrist to join our Mental Health & Wellness service managing adult and/or adolescent outpatient psychiatric services. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the overall delivery and coordination of care for outpatient psychiatric services for adults and/or adolescents and will also participate in care provided in an inpatient setting as needed. The incoming physician will assess, diagnose and develop a plan of care in accordance with practice protocols and will spend time in a clinic setting seeing new and established patients with support of experienced physicians and nurse practitioners.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Highly competitive salary range of $385 - $400k

Skills Required

  • Board-certified or board-eligible Psychiatrist
  • Ability to manage adult outpatient psychiatric services
  • Willingness to participate in inpatient psychiatric care as needed
  • Ability to assess, diagnose, and develop plans of care in accordance with practice protocols
  • Comfort seeing new and established patients in a clinic setting and working with nurse practitioners and experienced physicians
