Our psychiatric team includes APRNs, LCSWs, psychologists, physicians, and geriatricians. We provide a collaborative clinical environment while giving our providers the autonomy and flexibility to manage their schedules and patient care.
Position SummaryAs a full-time Psychiatrist with Impact Health PC, you will provide psychiatric consultation, evaluation, and treatment services to residents within skilled nursing facilities across Connecticut and surrounding states.
You will collaborate with our behavioral health and medical teams, provide clinical consultation to psychiatric APRNs, and conduct specialized psychiatric evaluations as needed. You will have the flexibility to organize your schedule around your assigned facilities during normal business hours.
Key Responsibilities-
Provide comprehensive psychiatric assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and treatment services.

Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans.

Collaborate with psychiatric APRNs, LCSWs, psychologists, medical providers, and facility staff.

Provide psychiatric consultation and clinical guidance to members of the behavioral health team.

Conduct PEC and PC370 evaluations as needed, where applicable.

Coordinate patient care with the medical team and interdisciplinary facility staff.

Complete accurate clinical documentation within 24 hours of each encounter.

Maintain compliance with applicable state regulations and facility requirements.

Active medical license in Connecticut or a surrounding state, with eligibility to obtain licensure in additional states as required for assigned facilities.
