Compensation: The starting hourly wage for this role is $27.67/hr to $27.67/hr

Work Schedule: 1st Shift | Monday-Friday with Overtime and weekend work as needed
Plant Overview:
  • 3 Shift Operation
  • Non- Union Facility with approximately 270 hourly staff members which are a mix of temporary and full-time associates.
  • 100% Food Service, 4 bag soup lines, 1 tub line, 18 Kettles, 5 Filling lines, and 4 packaging lines.
  • Products include Frozen Soups and Macaroni & Cheese

Job Responsibilities & Duties:
Join our team and start your career in Process Safety Management (PSM)! As a PSM Technician, you'll support the safety and compliance of our ammonia refrigeration systems while learning the 14 elements of PSM through hands-on experience and mentorship.
You'll assist with Maintaining documentation and records for PSM elements such as:
  • Operating procedures
  • Training coordination
  • Mechanical integrity
  • Emergency planning
  • Incident investigations
  • Compliance audits
  • Supporting preventative maintenance and environmental responsibilities.
  • Coordinating audits and tracking open items and recommendations.
  • Helping ensure accurate documentation and quarterly updates to management.
  • Assisting with training and onboarding of new refrigeration operators.

Required Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Basic computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Office, email, file management).
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Willingness to learn and grow in a technical safety role.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Exposure to HVAC, industrial maintenance, or refrigeration systems.
  • Experience in manufacturing, safety, or technical documentation.
  • Interest in safety, compliance, and mechanical systems.
