Job Title: PS Software Engineer
 

Role Overview: As a PS Software Engineer, you will drive the effectiveness of our automation testing strategy and ensure the adoption of industry best practices within your team. Your expertise will be pivotal in validating code, enhancing test execution, and ensuring our products meet customer needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Automation Testing Strategy: Lead the definition and implementation of test scripts to ensure code validation through automation.
• Technical Expertise: Coach and provide technical expertise to ensure the team applies a robust test automation framework and continuous delivery tools.
• Lifecycle Management: Drive the effectiveness of test execution throughout the software development lifecycle to address and resolve issues promptly.

Customer-Centric Approach:

• Feedback Integration: Seek input from customers and product management to ensure our products add value and meet customer needs.
• Performance Monitoring: Gather and analyze feedback on product performance to drive continuous improvement.

Team Leadership:

• Problem Solving: Lead the team in taking ownership and responsibility for solving problems and driving process improvements.
• Skill Development: Identify and address gaps in team expertise through targeted development initiatives.
• Code Review: Monitor code reviews to address issues and use root cause analyses to prevent future occurrences.
• Best Practices: Own the development and execution of best practices within the team, focusing on small products or subsystems.

Agile Methodology:

• Requirements Management: Ensure the team receives effective business requirements and decomposes them into actionable user stories.
• Domain Understanding: Ensure the team, especially product owners, have a deep understanding of the domain to deliver high-quality solutions.
